Keisuke is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Psychiatry researching physician burnout and the impact of technology on physician well-being. Keisuke has been exploring the intersection of healthcare, technology, and policy for almost two decades. Keisuke worked at the Congressional Budget Office where he helped analyze legislation including the Affordable Care Act and the HITECH Act. He was also a health policy consultant at Avalere Health in Washington, DC where he advised Fortune 500 health care clients on Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage issues. In 2004, Keisuke spent a year living in Bangladesh as a Fulbright Scholar, which led him to develop an mHealth platform to deliver maternal health information to rural villagers. He is passionate about working on technologies and policies that can positively impact patient care. Keisuke received his B.A. in Biology from Cornell University and his M.D. from UC Davis School of Medicine.
