Dr. TerKonda is an assistant professor of surgery at Mayo Clinic, where he has practiced plastic and aesthetic surgery for 19 years. At Mayo Clinic Florida, he serves as the Medical Director for the Center for Connected Care and is a member of the Augmented Human Intelligence group. Dr. TerKonda was the previous Chair of the Outpatient Practice and has been recognized as an Outstanding Faculty Member. Beyond Mayo Clinic, Dr. TerKonda is a current member and the past Chair of the Florida Board of Medicine. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Federation of State Medical Boards. His education includes an B.E. Highest Honors in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, an M.D. from University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery and plastic surgery at Mayo Clinic followed by a fellowship in aesthetic and endoscopic plastic surgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is board certified in Plastic Surgery.
