Amanda Hauser DeHaven is the Regional Director of Strategic Projects for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. In her role she leads teams in the operationalization of Kaiser Permanente's Next Generation Medical Offices, oversees Telehealth programs across Southern California and supports the strategy development of practice management efforts and team-based care. She was previously a Director in Kaiser Permanente's San Bernardino Service Area in Medical Group and Hospital Administration. As a member of the service areas leadership team, she oversaw efforts supporting the strategic plan, focused on improving quality and operational efficiency and managed multiple departments including Consulting Services, Facilities Development, Workflow Consultants, KP HealthConnect (electronic medical record), Ambulatory Care Experience and Culturally Responsive Care. Prior to joining the Fontana and Ontario Medical Centers team, she previously held project management positions at the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Regional Office where she led business development and innovative care delivery efforts. Ms. DeHaven received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Womens Studies from Cornell College and a Master in Public Health degree in Health Services Management from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Public Health.
