Patrick McIntyre is the Vice President of Strategic Transformation for Best Buy Co. Inc., as part of his role, is responsible for providing sourcing, evaluating and accelerating approaches to transorming Best Buy.
He joined Best Buy in 2004 and has held numerous financial and Strategy roles within the company. He started as a Senior Financial Analyst partnering with the merchandising team responsible for buying movies and video games. In the past 11 years, he has held such roles as: leading the Finance teams for various product categories, Chief Financial Officer for Napster (when wholly owned by Best Buy), Category Strategy Lead supporting the merchandising teams and, most recently, VP of Corporate Development when Best Buy acquired Greatcall.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in International Business and Investment Finance and a minor in Economics from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. He earned his JD at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
