Michael is on a personal mission to eradicate boring learning experiences from the planet. Believing in the life-changing power of discovery, he constructs highly-creative and ridiculously-interactive learning experiences that matter.

As an energetic facilitator and teacher, Michael accepts three challenges each time he designs and leads a learning experience:

· All experiences must be so engaging that participants forget that they even have a cell phone.

· If the content can’t immediately be connected to people’s lives and work, it’s not worth doing.

· It’s a waste of time to teach information and skills without also doing something that inspires behavioral change.

His areas of expertise include team engagement, empathy, the power of creativity, effective communication, customer experience, conflict management, multiple generations in the workplace, disruption, leveraging personality types, emotional intelligence, and embracing diversity.

With a master’s degree in teaching, Michael has over twenty years of experience facilitating groups, designing programs, editing curriculum, and empowering teams to achieve their goals. He’s an in-demand speaker, writer, facilitator, and seminar leader and a contributing author to the 2016 anthology, Cultivating Culture. He’s also a regular contributor to monthly and quarterly publications of Kentucky’s Society for Human Resources Management (KYSHRM) and serves on the board of his local Association of Talent Development (ATD) chapter as the co-director of programming.
