Dr. Sabrina Smith is Chief Operating Officer for the American Telemedicine Association (ATA). Healthcare is indeed my passion. I've been fortunate to work across the healthcare continuum proactively implementing innovative and strategic solutions and programs with 20 years of cross-industry experience. Utilizing my strong operational skills, I have enabled global and national organizations to effectively generate sustainable growth while impacting the lives of healthcare professionals and patients alike. Working closely with hospitals, National Group Organizations (NGOs), government agencies and the private sector, I have found that by bringing people together, they can tackle complex issues. Credited with working with organizations to drive execution by implementing sound business practices and creating a culture of innovation and high performance. Dr. Smith has a doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Smith is the recent recipient and lead of a project selected for Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award #EAIN00022 funding to help develop a skilled community of patients and other stakeholders from across the entire healthcare enterprise and involving them meaningfully in every aspect of PCORI’s work.
